R002 ready!
Hi there!
It's been a while, but Erik and I have been very busy, lately.
Anyway, after having spent one month, our first client is going to receive his R002, the first sister of our Radio Arkham. Here are the first pics of it:
As you can see, R002 is quite different from the first Radio Arkham: its look is darker and colder, perhaps minimalistic, but the result is appealing. Our client asked us if it was possible putting a light in it, and we found out a solution.
We're very proud of the result even because it was a not easy challenge!
Perhaps you want to test us again?

Lights on: Radio Arkham on sale!
Radio Arkham is officially ON SALE!
Now, here are the rules to get your radio:
Now, we wait for YOUR order!
Fuliggine
*Prices are constantly updated. You will precisely know the price of your radio at the end of phase 2.
Now, here are the rules to get your radio:
- Contact Fuliggine or Erikthedark [Phase 1]. You can do that:
- via private message (Boardgamegeek)
- via e-mail to fuliggine73ATgmailDOTcom
- posting a comment directly in this post
- Wait for our answer; with it, you will receive a pdf file (or you can save it directly from this post) in which you can ask us for some change to custom your radio, like main colors, velvet colors, display and so on. We'll let you know if we can realize your wishes. Some changes will cause a different price, of course (we cannot put golden Cthulhu statues all over it at the same price of plastic ones). After that, we will let you know how much time you'll have to wait for your radio to be realized, and we'll do everything to fulfil it [Phase 2].
- Transfer 130$* (100€)* via bank account as a warranty for us: we wouldn't like to make something like that before receiving at least the money to buy materials. After you've payed, we will start the work [Phase 3]. Once we start the job, you won't have the money back if you wish to cancel the order.
- Be patient and wait for the work to be done [Phase 4]: usually, we'll need a month. When we will be ready, you will receive some photos to check if it's fine:
a) if it's so, only now, you will have to pay to us the rest (normally 320$/250€) and for the shipping charges: we will contact for you the courier you wish (you pay for shipping charges). We will send your Radio Arkham to you as soon as we receive your payment
b) if it's not, we'll talk about that and we will fix whatever it's wrong.
Now, we wait for YOUR order!

Lights on: Radio Arkham... for sale?
Hi there!
It seemed to us that some of BGGeeks could have been interested in having their own Radio Arkham (and we don't blame them for that... he he he).
Anyway, we won't lie to you when we say that assembling it was a long and accurate thing, and expensive too! We used some wood, polystyrene, bristol, a lot of paint, glue, and all connected tools, of course. The expenses for that were around 100-110$ (80-90€), and we spent several evenings to complete it. More, you would have to pay shipping charges.
Having said that, we can get to the point:
- if you really want a thing like that for you, total price would be around 450$ (350€), and I can assure that it wouldn't be much for that. We work in two, and it's a slow process.
- if you really want a thing like that, you gotta be patient. We're just 2, we do accurate things, and we need time.
- if you really want a thing like that, we would ask you for 130$* (100€*) just before starting the building of your radio and this money wouldn't ever given back! It's a sort of "warranty" for us, because, this way, we could protect ourselves from something like "No, thanks, I don't need/want your tower anymore..." once it is finished!
Having said that, the good news:
- you would have something unique and cool for your boardgame, with a certificate of authenticity.
- you could ask for some minor variation, like colors, display numbers, etc. to make it even more "yours".
- you could receive some good discount if other people order it: the more we build at the same time, the less you pay. We created this blog even to chat about that: feel free to ask for more info through the comments or via e-mail.
Thank you very much,
Fuliggine

Radio Arkham
Well... this is the project which gave us the idea of creating this particular blog. Better to be said, it was the enthusiastic reaction of BGG pals! This project was developed by both of us, and it was not easy at all! We found several problems while working on it, but we did it!
Here some photos of our so-called "Radio Arkham" (more to come...):
We're proud of it because it's a multi-functional dice tower for Arkham Horror which can store all the basic game cards, and even something more.
Let's start from frontal view:
Lower part:
Middle: the opener, which can be normally closed, where the dice fall.
Center:
Radio display is used to keep track, in real time, of, starting from the inner wheel, open portals, players, number of monsters in suburbs and monsters in town. When the game starts, we “syntonize” the radio on the right number of investigators, so that we can immediately check portal and monster limits. We use small stilettos to constantly update these data during the game.
Top:
The two upper niches which you see on the front are the slots for Portal cards and Outer Worlds encounters.
Just behind frontal view:
Just behind the big niches, near dice-well entrance, we put several shelves to keep all discard piles in a precise order, as you can see in our other images. On both flanks of the "radio" – lower part - there are ten slots (five on the right and five on the left) to store all the decks of the encounters in Arkham and of the tiny cards (items, skills, money and so on...). But it's still not finished! On the top, there's even a small container in which we store the dice from game to game.
Not bad, isn't it?

First post
Hello everybody!
We welcome you all to our new-born blog: through Boardgames Pimping we could talk about our projects and ideas to personalize our favourite boardgames. It's a place where all together we could talk about original ideas to "boost" the components of the games we like the most.
We know that, for sure, our readers are BoardGameGeeks, but with this tiny space in the net, we hope to involve even players simply interested in this hobby.
Enjoy,
Fuliggine and Erikthedark.
